United Kingdom, July 21 -- Dean Cain is considering running for office in his newly-adopted home state of Nevada.

The Lois + Clark: The New Adventures of Superman actor, 59, was raised in California after moving there as a child but he left Los Angeles three years ago to start a new life in Las Vegas - and Cain is now considering whether he should swap acting for a new career in politics.

He told Fox News: "If I think I can make Nevada better, perhaps I'll do it. If I thought I could come in, do some good for this state of Nevada and for this country, I would do it and get out.
