United Kingdom, May 10 -- David Beckham helped lead celebrity US and Australian Mother's Day tributes.

Even though the former England captain, 51, is British-born, he joined stars across America and Down Under who flooded social media with tributes to the women in their lives - amid continuing public fascination with David and his wife Victoria's estrangement from their eldest son Brooklyn Beckham.

David shared his tribute to wife Victoria, 52, online on Sunday (10.05.26), praising the former Spice Girl as "the best mum" to their four children - Brooklyn, 27, Romeo, 23, Cruz, 21, and Harper, 14.
