United Kingdom, March 15 -- Sir David Beckham hailed his wife, Victoria Beckham, as an "inspiration" to all four of their children amid the family's feud with their eldest child, Brooklyn.

The 50-year-old retired footballer and his fashion designer spouse, 51, are parents to Brooklyn, 27, Romeo, 23, Cruz, 21, and 14-year-old Harper, and despite the family rift, the power couple included Brooklyn in their heartfelt messages.

David gushed alongside a picture of the former Spice Girl pregnant with a blossoming bump: "Happy Mother's Day to the most amazing mummy.....
