United Kingdom, April 6 -- Danielle Fishel is determined to remain "active" following her cancer scare.

The 44-year-old actress is now cancer-free after undergoing two surgeries and 20 rounds of radiation, and Danielle admits that the experience has transformed her outlook on life.

The TV star - who was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2024 - told People: "I'm trying to think of self-care as not being a luxury or an indulgence. It's a bare minimum that I owe to myself to keep myself active enough that I can do the things that bring me joy, like dancing."

Danielle has also found joy in hosting her podcasts, Pod Meets World - where she appears alongside her former Boy Meets World co-stars Rider Strong and Will Friedle - and Teen Beat.
