United Kingdom, April 6 -- Dan Levy was "thinking about" a Schitt's Creek sequel before Catherine O'Hara's death.

The 42-year-old actor - who co-wrote and starred in the hit sitcom with his famous father Eugene - has admitted while he was considering bringing the show back, those plans have been scrapped after O'Hara died in January aged 71 after a brief illness.

Asked if he would make more episodes, he told CBS' Sunday Morning: "No, not now. We can't. I was thinking about it."

The show followed the Rose family, who lots their fortune and had to relocate to the titular Schitt's Creek and had to get used to a very different lifestyle surrounded by a cast of quirky and lovable characters.
