United Kingdom, April 20 -- David Anthony Burke, known professionally as D4vd, has been charged in connection with the death of a teenage girl, prosecutors in Los Angeles have confirmed.

The 21-year-old rapper, has been charged over the death of 14-year-old Rivas Hernandez after her remains were discovered in his Tesla, according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney's office.

Burke was arrested last week following the discovery of the body, which was found on 8 September 2025 at a Hollywood tow yard after reports of a foul odour.

Rivas, who was from Lake Elsinore, had last been seen in April 2024.
