United Kingdom, Aug. 17 -- Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez are planning a "big wedding" in the future.

The couple tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in the living room of their Portuguese house, with just their five children in attendance, on 11 August, with the date chosen because it marked the 10th anniversary of their first meeting at the Gucci store in Madrid and a "crazy year" of "work commitments, competitions, kids" meaning they didn't have enough time to plan a massive celebration for that date.
