United Kingdom, June 17 -- Corey Feldman's hospitalisation was due to food poisoning.

The former child star, 54, is said to have started feeling unwell while he was travelling from Chicago to Los Angeles on Monday (15.06.26) and he was met by paramedics after landing and was transported to a local hospital for treatment, with doctors suspecting he may be suffering from pancreatitis or gallstones.

But his spokesperson has now told PageSix.com that the Goonies star had food poisoning but is on the mend now.

The spokesperson said: "Corey is doing much better and is now out of the hospital."
