United Kingdom, March 20 -- Chuck Norris has reportedly been rushed to hospital.

The acting legend suffered a "medical emergency" - details of which are not yet known - on Wednesday (18.03.26) while on the island of Kauai, Hawaii, TMZ reports.

Chuck is understood to be "in good spirits", and he seemed that way and was "cracking jokes" when he chatted to a pal on the phone just before he was hospitalised, according to the outlet.

The ordeal came nine days after the Walker, Texas Ranger star marked his 86th birthday, and said he feels grateful for his "good health".

Martial artist Chuck - real name Carlos Ray Norris - marked his big day with a video of him sparring with a trainer, which he shared to Instagram on March 10.
