United Kingdom, June 24 -- Christina Ricci has furiously taken aim at talk show host Jimmy Fallon for having Conor McGregor on his programme following the fighter's 2014 sexual assault trial.

The 37-year-old mixed martial artist was one of the guests on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon earlier this month (16.06.26).

But the interview caused controversy, and sparked numerous memes - one of which blasted Fallon for inviting McGregor to the show, which actress Christina reposted.

She shared an image on her Instagram Stories which read: "Conor McGregor raped a woman so brutally that the EMT who saw her commented on the severity of her bruising.
