United Kingdom, April 20 -- Christina Applegate has declared she is getting "stronger and better every day" amid her health fight.

The Married. With Children actress, 54, was reportedly admitted to hospital in Los Angeles last month, though it remains unclear whether the visit was directly related to her diagnosis of multiple sclerosis, which she disclosed in August 2021.

She has now told fans on Instagram in a caption: "Thank you for the outpouring of love and well wishes.

"Health issues are a constant for me, but I'm a strong chick and I'm getting stronger and better every day. I'm taking a moment to focus on my health, but I'll be back with more to say soon enough."
