United Kingdom, June 16 -- Chris Tucker hasn't had sex for three years.

The Rush Hour star explained that he has been celibate for the past three years because he is waiting to get married again during a comedy gig in Las Vegas last week.

Sources who attended the show - in which audience members were asked to lock up their phones before they entered - told TMZ that Tucker said: "Well, I'm celibate. I've been celibate for three years, but I'm really trying to get married. I give it to the love this time."

The 54-year-old star added: "I'm serious. No one believes me."

Tucker - who has son Destin, 27, with his ex-wife Azja Pryor - explained that members of his own family aren't convinced by his celibacy claim, including his niece.
