United Kingdom, April 26 -- Cheryl Hines had to be lifted "over chairs" amid the shooting at the White House Correspondents' Dinner.

The 60-year-old actress attended the event alongside her husband Robert F. Kennedy Jr, who serves as the US Secretary of Health, and Cheryl has taken to social media to share her experience of the shooting incident.

The actress said on Instagram: "I just got back from the White House Correspondent's Dinner. That was a crazy, um, moment in time.

"So we were there and we heard shots and everybody got under the tables. Nobody knew what was going on. And then you know, Bobby's security detail surrounded us and took us. I mean, really, like, had to lift me over chairs because I'm in heels and a gown. And they ...
