United Kingdom, Aug. 22 -- Chase Stokes feels proud of Outer Banks' success.

The 33-year-old actor has played John B. on the Netflix series since 2020, and he's been amazed by the show's success over the last six years.

Chase - who dated Madelyn Cline, his Outer Banks co-star, in 2020 and 2021 - told The Hollywood Reporter: "The show has consistently done billions and billions of views.

"It's not like I did a network show that was OK. This show was a monster - it's silently been one of Netflix's biggest shows globally for five years.
