United Kingdom, Sept. 16 -- Chase Infiniti says women of colour are among "the most unprotected people in society".

The 26-year-old actress has reflected on her lead role in The Julia Set, when the student ends up in an unhealthy romance with teaching assistant Pascal (Christopher Briney).

Chase told Variety: "Julia is always doing the next best thing for herself, and also for Pascal.

"Unfortunately, women of colour don't have the luxury of thinking only about themselves. They're thinking for everyone around them.

"This is especially [true] in an abusive relationship. Women of colour are some of the most unprotected people in society."
