United Kingdom, Aug. 28 -- Charmed star Holly Marie Combs has retired from acting.

The 52-year-old TV star has revealed she's stepped away from show business to spend more time with her husband Mike Ryan and her three sons from her previous marriage to David W. Donoho - adding that she made the decision because the roles she was being offered had become "less interesting" as she reached her 50s.

During an appearance on The House of Halliwell podcast, Holly declared: "I'm retired."

She added of her reasons: "It was a lot of family. During COVID, we had three teenagers. Well, it was three teenagers and a preteen in the house, and it was just mayhem and chaos."
