United Kingdom, June 2 -- Chappell Roan feels "privileged" to be able to delete social media from her phone.

The 28-year-old pop star, who has been vocal about her own boundaries as she tries to navigate fame, has opened up on her decision to step back from platforms like Instagram, TikTok and X when things get too much.

Chappell, who currently "doesn't have social media" on her phone, told the P+G and iHeartRadio's Elton John Impact Awards podcast: "I'm in a very privileged position where I can be like, 'I'm not gonna be on this and I'll be fine.'

"But not everyone is like that."
