United Kingdom, July 9 -- Catherine, Princess of Wales overcame terrible weather conditions to complete the Three Peaks Challenge last month.

The 44-year-old royal climbed Scafell Pike, Ben Nevis and Snowdon - the highest mountains in England, Scotland and Wales respectively - within 24 hours recently to raise funds for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity and explained how she and other climbers continued "stoically" in awful weather to achieve the feat.
