United Kingdom, Aug. 9 -- Carmen Electra has suggested a way for her Baywatch character to return for the upcoming reboot.

The 54-year-old actress, who played lifeguard Lelani "Lani" McKenzie in the original series from 1997 to 1998 and the spin-off TV movie Baywatch: Hawaiian Wedding, would happily put the red swimsuit back on if producers wanted her involved - suggesting a reunion with her alter-ego's love interest Cody Madison, played by David Chokachi, who has already signed up for the new version.

She told Fox News Digital: "I could do something. Come in, have another love scene with David Chokachi. Just something really cute and fun. I would be down to get into the water again."
