United Kingdom, May 29 -- Carey Mulligan had to delay her CBE ceremony for a year because her husband Marcus Mumford was too busy to accompany her.

The 41-year-old actress was made a Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) by King Charles during an investiture ceremony at Windsor Castle in March, but The Great Gatsby has now revealed the event had been due to take place in 2025 and she had to postpone it by 12 months because she wanted her Mumford and Sons star partner to join her on the big day.
