United Kingdom, March 31 -- Bruce Willis refused to take a fee for his appearance in Gorillaz's Stylo video.
The Die Hard star made a cameo in the promo for the band's 2010 song playing an armed thug pursuing the animated characters through the desert in a stylistic car chase and Gorillaz illustrator Jamie Hewlett has now revealed the Hollywood actor worked for free so the group left him some "nice red wine" in his trailer to say thank you.
During an interview with Zane Lowe for Apple Music, Jamie revealed the only request Bruce made was for a helicopter ride so he could get back to a children's birthday party after the shoot. Jamie said: "Bruce was a real sweetheart. He was so nice and he didn't charge to be in the video.
