United Kingdom, May 11 -- Britney Spears was absent as much of her family reunited for niece Maddie Aldridge's high school graduation.

Despite the troubled 44-year-old singer's parents, sister and eldest son all attending the ceremony, the Baby One More Time performer was a no-show amid continuing scrutiny surrounding her fractured relationship with the Spears family.

Rare photographs emerged from the ceremony of Britney's father Jamie Spears, mother Lynne Spears, sister Jamie Lynn Spears and son Sean Preston Federline, as they gathered to celebrate 17-year-old Maddie's milestone.
