United Kingdom, Feb. 28 -- Noel Gallagher hailed his brother Liam Gallagher as he collected the Songwriter of the Year gong at the BRIT Awards.
The Oasis rocker was honoured at the Manchester ceremony on Saturday (28.02.26) and took the opportunity to pay tribute to Liam and the rest of the Roll With It band after their hugely successful reunion last year.
After he was introduced by Primal Scream frontman Bobby Gillespie, Noel said: "Yes, Manchester! I'm gonna start by saying I've got to thank my brother. And Bonehead, Guigsy and Andy and Gem. Without them I'd just be a singer-songwriter and nobody gives a s*** about singer-songwriters."
