United Kingdom, Oct. 17 -- Jennie is always "collecting inspiration" from the world around her.

The 30-year-old star rose to prominence as a member of the South Korean girl group BLACKPINK, and since becoming a solo artist, Jennie has drawn inspiration from all sorts of sources.

The singer - who released her debut solo album, Ruby, in 2025 - told Interview magazine: "I think I'm always collecting inspiration from what's around me, whether it's film, fashion, art, music, places I've been, or something I've read.

"I don't necessarily go looking for one specific reference every time I start a project. Sometimes something just stays with me and connects naturally to what I'm already feeling or trying to express.
