United Kingdom, June 26 -- Bella Hadid was left in tears after suffering a severe Lyme disease flare up this week, which left her "out of breath" walking to her kitchen.

The 29-year-old supermodel has always been open about living with the illness, after she was diagnosed with the tick-borne disease in 2012.

On Thursday (25.06.26), she took to social media to share another honest update, in which she admitted having a shower "without fainting" was a "really big accomplishment" for her.

She wrote on her Instagram Stories: "Haven't been able to shake off this flare up... slept 11 hours. Again... Nap everyday. Took every protocol from any and every doctor I've seen. Still nothing helping IFYKY.
