United Kingdom, Sept. 30 -- Ashley Tisdale "tried to divorce" husband Christopher French "so many times" amid her struggle with postpartum depression.

The 41-year-old actress has been married to Christopher, 44, since 2014, and Ashley admits that her postpartum depression almost derailed their marriage.

Speaking to her husband, Ashley - who has Jupiter, five, and Emerson, two, with the composer - said on the Recovering podcast: "You dealt with a lot of that and we had difficulty during that first year.

"I tried to divorce you so many times. But you're so grounded and calm and knew to just let it blow over."
