United Kingdom, Aug. 19 -- Andrew Garfield has started a Bugsy Malone covers band.

The 42-year-old actor, who showed off his singing talents in 2021 movie tick, tick... BOOM!, has revealed he's still involved in music after putting together a group with some friends based on the tunes of the iconic 1976 musical.

He told E! News: "I do have a band, we do Bugsy Malone covers.

"Look out for The Shangles. Look out for a group of middle-aged guys doing Bugsy Malone covers."

Andrew teased that the group are waiting to see "what happens out there" as he promised "some big plans" in the future.

He added: "But I can't really say it until it's official - I don't want to jinx it."
