United Kingdom, Aug. 23 -- Andrew Garfield has a secret Instagram account.

The 43-year-old actor has admitted to being "addicted" to the photo-sharing platform - even though he doesn't have a public-facing account.

The Hollywood star told Variety: "I'm as addicted as anybody. My screen time notifications are horrific to me. It's like, I've given all of those hours to nothing.

"It's genuinely enraging because we don't have as much control over these impulses as we should, and it's been by design. It's pretty dark when you look at it."

Andrew explained that he explores "weird ceramics" and "lots of Japanese kind of craftspeople" through Instagram.

The actor also admitted that he'd love to escape the spotlight, in spite of his success....
