United Kingdom, Sept. 26 -- Alexander Ludwig knew The Hunger Games film franchise would become a huge success.

The 34-year-old actor starred alongside Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks, Lenny Kravitz, Stanley Tucci, and Donald Sutherland in The Hunger Games, the 2012 dystopian film, and Alexander always thought that the franchise would become a money-spinning success.

The actor - who played the part of Cato in the film - told Variety: "I remember Jen and I riding together in this van, and her being so lovely and me being like, 'God, she's only a couple years older than me and she's already been nominated for an Oscar [for Winter's Bone].
