United Kingdom, March 6 -- Alex Cooper made "mistakes in terms of trusting people" at the start of her career.

The 30-year-old Call Her Daddy host has opened up about building her multimillion-dollar Unwell media empire, admitting that her early days in the industry came with a steep learning curve.

Appearing on Phoebe Gates and Sophia Kianni's The Burnouts podcast, Alex said: "I wish I would have put more things in writing so that I could back up what really happened.

"It's so crazy how much emotion can get tied into business. As much as everyone's like, it's business, it's not personal - everyone takes it f****** personal, especially if it is your own company or your brand."
