United Kingdom, June 10 -- Adele's fiance Rich Paul has revealed the couple got together "very organically" after he had known her for "some time".

In a rare interview, the 45-year-old entrepreneur and sports agent opened up about the showbiz power pair's relationship, admitting he didn't set out to hook up with the Someone Like You hitmaker.

Speaking on the Glass Half Full podcast, he said: "I had known her for some time. You know, just when you're in these circles, man, you're in these circles,

"But I never tried to get fresh with people that's in comfortable circles because they always have to deal with that, so that was never my thing.

"It was really something that happened very organically, really."
