United Kingdom, Oct. 14 -- Aaron Sorkin thinks about reviving The West Wing "every day".

The Social Reckoning director admitted he "misses" his political drama, which aired on NBC from 1999 until 2006, and though it would be "very tricky" to bring back the programme now, he would love to do so.

He told Entertainment Weekly: "There's probably a couple of seconds every day when I think about it.

"It would be very, very tricky to do in the current environment [but it] would be fun. I miss it."

While Aaron didn't directly reveal what he thinks his optimistic president, Josiah 'Jed' Bartlet (Martin Sheen), would say about the current state of US politics, he suggested the fictional commander-in-chief wouldn't be too impressed.
