United Kingdom, Oct. 11 -- Aaron Sorkin is "not trying to persuade" movie fans.

The 65-year-old filmmaker has helmed The Social Reckoning, the follow-up to 2010's The Social Network - but Aaron insists he's not trying to impose his own politics on cinemagoers.

He told The Independent: "I don't have a political agenda. I am not trying to persuade you of anything. I am trying to captivate you for however long I've asked for your attention in a dark theatre."

The Social Reckoning explores the 2021 Facebook leak by the whistleblower Frances Haugen and Jeff Horwitz.

But Aaron has rubbished the idea that it's a political movie.
