United Kingdom, July 29 -- Aaron Rodgers sought his wife's approval before committing to another season in the NFL.

The 42-year-old sports star is busily preparing for another campaign in the NFL - but Aaron only committed to another season after being given the blessing of his wife, Brittani.

The Pittsburgh Steelers star told reporters: "I talked to the wife and she said, 'You can do one more year'. I said, 'Well, we'll see if it works out.' And then it kind of all came together."

Despite this, Aaron - who has previously dated the likes of Olivia Munn, Danica Patrick and Shailene Woodley - is insistent that this will be his final year in the NFL.

Asked if this will be his last season, Aaron replied: "Zero debate."
