United Kingdom, July 9 -- Shailene Woodley celebrated her Emmy Awards nomination with "some blind FaceTimes".

The 34-year-old actress has been shortlisted for the Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series award for her role as Annie Clay in the apocalyptic TV show Paradise, and she got the news while undergoing her first ever eyelash lift.

She told Variety: "I was with two girlfriends. One of them was getting her lashes lifted, which I have never done in my life, and she asked if I wanted to do it.

"I was like, 'How long does it take?' and the lady was like, 'It takes 20 minutes.'

"Anyway, I ended up being on a bed with my eyes shut for an hour and a half, and my other girlfriend was like, 'Your phone is blowing up.'
