United Kingdom, April 30 -- Zayn Malik's family have asked fans to stop sending flowers after he was hospitalised with a mystery illness.

The 33-year-old star shared a photo last week in a hospital bed and pulled out of events promoting his new album Konnakol, and now his cousin Sasha Malik has made a plea to his supporters after an overwhelming amount of bouquets were sent.

She wrote on her Instagram Story on Wednesday (29.04.26): "We're so grateful for everyone who has reached out to send bouquets!

"Logistically, it just simply can't work, but we appreciate you all so much please donate anything you'd like on Zayn's behalf to The Palestine Project!"
