United Kingdom, Sept. 24 -- Ryan Murphy has "finished the script" for a Glee revival.

The 60-year-old co-creator of the beloved musical series, which originally aired from 2009 to 2015, has given a massive update on a potential return after working on a script with Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan.

He told Entertainment Tonight: "Well, funny you ask, because I just finished the script an hour ago.

"We have a script. Brad, Ian and I, who wrote all the first two seasons, have written something."

Ryan, who is returning this week with season 13 of American Horror Story, revealed he has been in touch with some original Glee cast members about reprising their roles.
