United Kingdom, Jan. 20 -- Developer 1047 Games is expanding Splitgate Arena Reloaded this week with a new Arena Royale mode.

Arena Royale launches on January 22, 2026 and blends Splitgate's portal-driven arena combat with battle royale-style rules.

Matches feature 24 players split into six squads of four, but unlike traditional battle royales, the mode is designed to match the pace and length of a standard arena game.

As long as one teammate remains alive, fallen squad members can respawn, keeping the action flowing and downtime to a minimum.

Once the final circle begins, respawns are disabled and survival becomes the sole focus.

According to 1047 Games, Arena Royale is intentionally compact.
