United Kingdom, Sept. 29 -- Naughty Dog studio head Neil Druckmann has revealed that the developer is working on two new The Last of Us projects that will expand the series beyond the events of Part I and Part II.

The announcement came as part of The Last of Us Day celebrations recently, where Druckmann shared updates on the studio's future plans while thanking fans for helping raise more than $11,000 for accessibility charity AbleGamers.

Although details remain limited, Druckmann confirmed that Naughty Dog has "a couple of very exciting new projects" connected to The Last of Us currently in early development.

Druckmann said: "Both projects will expand the canon of The Last of Us beyond Part I and Part II."
