United Kingdom, Oct. 7 -- Grand Theft Auto VI writer Alexa D'Agostino believes new protagonist Lucia Caminos can stand alongside some of Rockstar Games' most beloved characters, including Red Dead Redemption 2's Arthur Morgan and Grand Theft Auto 4's Niko Bellic.

Lucia will be one of two playable protagonists when Grand Theft Auto VI launches on November 19, alongside Jason Duval. The pair's relationship will form a central part of the game's story as they attempt to navigate the criminal underworld of Leonida.

Speaking to Love Magazine, D'Agostino explained that her approach to writing Lucia was influenced by the women in her own life, including her mother, who grew up in Newark, New Jersey.
