United Kingdom, March 9 -- A new open-world experience inspired by the chaos of Grand Theft Auto is heading to Fortnite later this month.

The project, titled Grand Heist City, has been created by streaming star Andre Rebelo - better known online as Typical Gamer - and his development team at JOGO Studios. The map will launch on March 14 using Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN) and is described as the studio's most ambitious project to date.

Designed as a mission-driven sandbox, Grand Heist City aims to recreate the feel of a crime-filled open world through cooperative heists, free exploration and chaotic multiplayer action. Rebelo said the idea was born from his lifelong love of Rockstar's crime series.
