India, May 20 -- Xiaomi YU7 GT packs a 976bhp dual-motor AWD setup, 101.7kWh battery, 300km/h top speed and 800V fast-charging technology.

Xiaomi has added another Nurburgring record to its growing EV portfolio. The upcoming Xiaomi YU7 GT electric SUV has become the fastest production SUV around the Nurburgring Nordschleife with a lap time of 7 minutes and 34.93 seconds. The dual-motor SUV produces 976bhp, comes with all-wheel drive, uses a 101.7kWh battery pack and supports 800-volt fast charging. Xiaomi also claims a 300km/h top speed for the YU7 GT. With this lap, the SUV has gone quicker than the Audi RS Q8 Performance, which previously held the production SUV record at the circuit with a time of 7 minutes and 36.69 seconds.
