India, Sept. 22 -- Toyota has updated the safety features of its well-known MPV, the Rumion, in India. The car now comes with six airbags as standard across all variants. The move aligns with a similar safety enhancement introduced in July for its donor model, the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga. In addition to the airbag update, Toyota has equipped the top-spec V variant with a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). The MPV has three core trims (S, G, and V) and five colour options: Cafe White, Enticing Silver, Rustic Brown, Iconic Grey, and Spunky Blue. It starts at Rs 10.44 lakh and tops out at Rs 13.61 lakh (ex-showroom). In terms of market competition, the Rumion MPV locks horns with the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and the XL6 in the segment.
