India, Aug. 20 -- Tata Motors has returned to South Africa after nearly six years, following its exit in 2019. The company has partnered with Motus Holdings Ltd., a prominent distributor in South Africa, and launched four models in the region, including the Punch SUV and the Tiago hatchback. This move marks a significant milestone in Tata Motors' global expansion strategy. Moreover, the partnership with Motus Holdings ensures access to a well-established and growing dealer network in the market, backed by reliable after-sales support and a customer-centric approach. Initially, Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles (TMPV) will have a network of 40 dealerships in South Africa. The company plans to expand this network to 60 outlets by 2026.
