India, July 20 -- Tata Motors is preparing to expand the Nexon's international footprint by introducing the compact SUV in South Africa under a new name - the Osprey. Although the name is changing, the SUV itself remains almost identical to the India-spec Nexon, with only one notable mechanical difference.

The move highlights Tata's growing export ambitions while tailoring its product strategy to suit regional demand rather than developing a market-specific model from scratch.
