India, Sept. 25 -- Tata Motors has launched the Aeris in India, with prices starting at Rs 5.29 lakh (ex-showroom). The new compact sedan replaces the Tigor, which has been on sale in India for almost a decade. It keeps the sub-four-metre format and goes up against the Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Hyundai Aura and Honda Amaze. The Aeris gets changes to the exterior, a new set of features inside and the same 1.2-litre petrol engine. A factory-fitted CNG version is also available with an AMT gearbox. The Tata Aeris is available in four colour options: Dandeli Drizzle, Nitro Crimson, Dune Glow, and Pure Grey.
