India, May 5 -- Range Rover SV price cut by Rs 75 lakh ahead of India-UK FTA rollout. Range Rover Sport SV also gets up to Rs 40 lakh reduction in India.
JLR India has revised the pricing of the Range Rover SV, and this is not a small price cut. The flagship SUV now costs Rs 3.5 crore, ex-showroom, down from Rs 4.25 crore. That is a straight Rs 75 lakh cut, or about 17.7 per cent. For a car at this level, such a drop is significant and clearly timed with the expected changes in import duties under the India-UK trade deal. It also signals how brands are preparing early for policy shifts that could reshape pricing.
