India, July 22 -- Range Rover has revealed the GT, its first electric grand tourer and one of the biggest changes in the brand's history. For the first time, the company has moved away from its familiar SUV body style and introduced a fastback model built on JLR's new Electric Modular Architecture (EMA). The Range Rover GT will feature dual-motor all-wheel drive, an 800V electrical system and a new battery layout designed to improve cabin space.

It will join the Range Rover, Range Rover Sport, Velar and Evoque in the brand's lineup, with a full public reveal scheduled for the coming months.
