Maruti Suzuki has taken the next step in India's ethanol journey with the launch of the WagonR Flex-Fuel, the country's first passenger car capable of running on E85 fuel. Unveiled in the presence of Union Ministers Nitin Gadkari and Hardeep Singh Puri, the car can operate on fuel blends containing up to 85 per cent ethanol, making Maruti Suzuki the first carmaker in India to bring a flex-fuel passenger vehicle to market.
