India, May 13 -- Jaguar Type 01 will arrive as a high-performance electric GT with nearly 1,000bhp, a 700km range, tri-motor powertrain and new EV architecture.

Jaguar has officially confirmed that its upcoming electric four-door GT will be called the Jaguar Type 01. The new EV is expected to produce close to 1000bhp, while offering a claimed WLTP driving range of up to 700km. Built on Jaguar's new dedicated electric platform, the Type 01 will also introduce a fresh design language that is set to shape every future Jaguar model.
